Pokémon and One Piece
Character × printing × language. The box does not promise the chase.

| Pokémon | One Piece | |
|---|---|---|

| Who | The Pokémon (Charizard, Pikachu, Eeveelutions) | The character (Luffy first) |
| "First" | 1st Edition stamp, Wizards era only (1999–2003) | None |
| Chase | Special illustration rare (two gold stars). Gold cards above that in the Mega Evolution era. | Super Alt-Art, which the floor calls a manga rare |

Pokémon rarity, modern
| Symbol | Name | Counter read |
|---|---|---|
| Circle / diamond / one black star | Common / uncommon / rare | Bulk. Foil on these is a parallel foil ("reverse holo"), not a chase. |
| Two black stars | Double rare | Regular ex |
| Two silver stars | Ultra rare | Full-art ex or Supporter |
| One gold star | Illustration rare | Alt full-art of a cheaper card |
| Two gold stars | Special illustration rare | The usual set chase |
| Three gold stars | Hyper rare | Gilded secret rare. Number past the set size, like 188/132. Not a print run. |
Mega Evolution-era gold cards above the special illustration rares: guides say Mega Hyper Rare (some said Mega Ultra Rare before release). The Pokémon Company didn't use that name and doesn't publish odds. Comp the exact printing.
